I’m really thrilled to announce the arrival of the new David Alan Consultants Video Interviewing!

This new facility for us sees one of my goals for our business come true!

Video Interviewing is all about convenience and saving time – for employers and employees.  These qualities are at the heart of what we do. Everyday.

Our video interviews save potential employees travel costs and employers save time. For employers who want to get a feel for personalities, video interviewing is a great way to bring a CV to life.

How does it work?

Employers can browse through our video candidate online library of selected pre-recorded interviews or they can request specific questions they want asked as part of my initial interview and we’ll video the candidate’s responses.

For the past few weeks we’ve been building up a library of interviews.  Some clips are short and to the point, to give employers a feel for each candidate’s personality. Other clips are longer and specifically tailored to individual  client requirements.

What’s nice about this video interviewing facility is that you can review and compare candidates at your desktop without having to remember who said what.

I like to think of our video interview as a first interview.  You can shortlist the candidates you like and know that when they walk through your door for a face-to-face interview there won’t be any big surprises or let downs.
