The Government has launched initiatives to help get 350,000 young people into work.

The number of young people out of work during the three months to September 2011 rose by 67,000. The total is the highest since comparable records began 19 years ago.

According to a new report out this month, The Graduate Market in 2011 produced by High Fliers Research, it revealed the analysis of graduate vacancies and starting salaries at Britain’s 100 leading employers, and the report suggested that lack of work experience is affecting graduates and their successful job placements.

I’ve just returned from a trip to South Africa and while the holiday was great, I have to admit, I’happy to be back at work.  Yes, I’m one of those ‘love your job types’ and I count myself lucky to be like this.

I really like the people side of my industry.  From meeting new clients to reconnecting with past candidates, I enjoy finding out what makes people tick.
